I meant to mention this sooner, but my schedule has been a bit nuts. Last week I recorded an enjoyable appearance on Tracy and Joe's "Odd Lots" podcast for Bloomberg, and it came out Friday. Check it out at the preceding link. We talked, you guessed it, AI data center spending.
Behind the scenes:
- Done from a hotel room in West Hollywood
- My camera and laptop were balanced on a wicker basket for towels
- My ring light screw fell out, so sometimes my light flashed side to side, like in a scene in Blade Runner
- My microphone was balanced calamitously on an upright wicker basket on the floor, with a foam yoga brick on top
- I was on San Vicente Boulevard, so there were regular sirens, the sound of which which were mostly suppressed by my microphone, which was impressive, if timely for the topic
